CHRISTMAS NIGHT 2011

Christmas night we headed over to Grandpa Clark and Grandma Jami’s home.  The rest of the sibling families were arriving in town for the next few days.  There might some moves coming up this next year, so it was nice to have everyone together, not knowing when the next time will be.

We hung out with football in the background, kids in line for Grandma’s chocolate shakes, everyone listening to Ben’s guitar playing Christmas carols.  Some of the kids wanted to go Christmas Caroling in the trailer- but Grandpa didn’t have his handy this year.  So Cameron grabbed some hay and luckily Todd had his dad’s trailer with us, so we plopped them on there and went around a few block…worked like a charm!  LOL.  Best part of it for me…Cameron mentioning that Todd looked like Big Bird next to the ducklings.  Hilarious.

Todd gave all the men in the family a personal vile of Olive Oil from Israel. He put together a neat excerpt on the significance and meaning of why olive oil is used for healing.  I love that he wanted to do this for the fathers, brothers and friends in his life.  He doesn’t always show his ‘tender’ side, so it is a good reminder to me of what a caring and sensitive man Todd is.

We spent the next day the families spent time at Grandma Suzie’s again.  The kids played Risk and some of them went bowling.  The adults went out to dinner- and called it…a nice night!
