WHAT A SEASON! Tyson’s little league football team had a great run again this year. They were undefeated Region Champs. They made it to the semi finals 9 and 0 as one of the final 4 teams out of 45. They only had 12 points scored on them the entire season. These guys played their little hearts out. They got stumped once again only one game away from the mini bowl. It was a difficult lose to take with a score of 6 to 0. They scored a tying touchdown, only to have it recalled by a questionable holding call. At any rate, we have loved watching our little guy tear it up and thoroughly love the sport. He’s still the shortest on the team, but one with quick feet and a heart that can’t be beat! He snagged a few TD’s and couple interceptions along the way this year.
WHAT A COMMITMENT! 4 days a week for 3 months. That’s rough stuff. But the kids that love it, really love it. The boys really learn to bond as a team. This is their 3rd year together. Todd and I had the boys over to our pool after the first 4 games of the season. It was so much fun to watch these nutty kids run around and goof off together. Tyson has been blessed to have his best friends on this team with him.
