The boys went crabbing in the morning while Heather and I took Jackson and Alyssa to an Estuary where they had a little story and craft for them to do. They got to learn about clams and go for a nature hike and learn about berries.
The boys had a great time on the dock, pulling the cages every so often to see what size crabs they were able to catch.
Later that day we went to Shore Acres Park and Cove to hang out. It was great. We then ordered take out that night from a little restaurant by the dock in Coos and came back to the house to enjoy for the evening. It was just right!
We laugh at this cute picture of Todd showing the crab to Jackson. Just look at this expression. "I dunno about that"
This is the bay at Shore Acres from the top. We walked down a trail to get there. Simply Stunning. Pics don't ever do justice.![]()

The boys had us bring Blizzards to the beach. Yummy. The funniest part of the day was when the blizzards were all gone and the cups were sitting in the sand. Brian went to go sit down and of all the places he could plop, it happened to be right on top of not just one cup, but two. It really was funny! Huh, Bri --
Shore Acres has a beautiful garden area with ponds, flowers and walkways. Heather says it changes all the time with the different flowers that come into bloom. She said the lights at Christmas are supposed to be spectacular. I found a picture on the web of what it looks like. Amazing. There is a raffle that night every year, and whoever wins, gets to stay in the little house there with breakfast in the morning.
Heather and me and some of the pretty flowers.
This is the park at Christmas...wouldn't it be awesome to see!
