The next generation…
Our family, along with my brothers and their families, took some time last weekend to plant some fruit trees on our farmland. We took the kiddos to IFA and loaded up some good ‘ol fruit bear’n trees. The kids had a great time play’n in the fields and helping to carry the trees into the ‘new orchard’ area. Some dug holes, others helped water. With in just about an hours time, we had round 7 or 8 trees planted firmly in the ground. We’re hoping they take root and will be a blessing for generations! We had one small cherry tree that reminded me of growing up. One summer my parents bought me 2 pair of brand new WHITE keds. What did I do the minute I got home? Walked into the backyard down by the cherry trees!
That sure taught me a lesson!

he who sows courtesy reaps friendship,
and he who plants kindness gathers love.
