Big Girl Alyssa has a big day ahead of her. She’s going to visit the Magical Medical Dr. who will wave his wand and whisk her not-so tiny tonsils away. And we’ve made it a big deal!
We’ve prepared Alyssa for the event the best we can. We told her she could wear fun Jam jams, paint her nails and have mom and dad with her until the nurses are ready for her. We told her they would probably put a special sleeping mask on her filled with fairydust to put her to sleep so she would be dreaming while the Dr. waved his magic wand. She has been in the bathroom with a flashlight this past week making sure she knew exactly what a tonsil was and is excited to see when they are gone…just like Daddy’s.
We made sure to let her know of all the fun treats she gets to have for the weekend as well…popsicles, Jell-O, & ice cream oh my!
OK…so, at some point we’ll have to explain the pain…but at 4 yrs old, it can wait till she wakes up. Then we’ll be sad together and we will love and mung on her as much as we can.
New PJ’s, a Webkinz sent by mail from Grandma Suzie, and Daddy coming to the rescue to scratchy her itchy for her while waiting for her fingers and tootsies to dry.
