STAYCATION DAY 6

So, it’s Saturday by now and we woke up early to catch the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt and breakfast.  I was a little sad to think that Tyson is really just about done with these types of events.  Time goes by SO fast.  I used to love to dress him in handsome outfits for egg hunting.  Now, well…let the tweenaging begin.  We wanted to take the kids to the temple grounds today to have a picnic and talk about the real meaning of Easter, but it was pretty cold and rainy.  Later that day the Easter Bunny dropped by house with baskets for the kids.  This year the Easter Bunny decided to let them have some say to the contents of their baskets.  The Bunny brought a medley of silver, gold, and paper dollars dressed in little plastic cases, and also made in to paper carrots on sticks, etc.  The Bunny set them out in the front yard and gave them a little poem with a chocolate marshmallow egg with their name on it in the living room telling them how to find their baskets.
