We made it to our destination by nightfall. We got settled in quickly to our nice and cozy guest room awaiting. Heather & Brian always make their guests feel so comfortable and welcome. Everyone loves to visit. They were very generous to have us up to stay only 8 weeks after little Olivia was born. Cutest thing was that with in about 30 minutes of us arriving the kids got in their pajamas and went in Jackson’s room while Tyson read a story. They were all asleep with the light off in less than 10 minutes. We got to visit for a while and oogle over their new baby girl. So cute.
We woke the following day and filled it with yummie toasted subs from a local sandwich shop. The kids and the men explored the beach and threw in some crab pots. Later that day the crabs came home and Brian showed us how the crack them and cook the meat.
We walked less than 5 minutes from behind their home to the bay. A quaint little pathway shoots right off from their backyard into the forest where we came out overlooking low tide.
We ate at a fun Mexican restaurant that night. Nice day.
