BANDON, BITTER & BATTERED

After the animal safari, we drove to downtown Bandon for yummy battered fish and chips.  There is the cutest little shack that serves fantastic food.  The weather was getting rather windy, so we ate then walked the shops for a bit.  I love the atmosphere there.  It’s just a fun, small coast town with a nice fresh edge.  Quaint.

Brian and Heather took their babes home, while Todd and I stayed to let our kids play on the beach for a bit longer.  Boy was that coastal wind bitter!  Alyssa didn’t seem to mind at all.  She spent 20 minutes mapping town roads in the sand.  She and Tyson enjoyed collected their pebbles.  This year the pebbles were pretty scarce.  Slim pick’ns.  That didn’t stop Tyson from finding a “family gem” for us.
