Back in September, Tyson had a soccer game out in SLC on the 11th. We decided to go visit the healing fields & the hope rising monument in Sandy. We’ve been out there a few times through the years. It is truly inspiring and moving to see the flags and the the honor in which people give while they read the names of some of the Utah Vets that lost their lives defending our freedom.
I hope that by visiting these places with Tyson and Alyssa in their youth, that they will gain an understanding and reverence for the freedoms we have here in America. Also for what courage it takes to stand up for what is good and just and right in God’s eyes.
In one of the photo’s below, you can see Todd reading about one of our fallen. His arm shows the spirit in which it touches our lives.
