TESTIMONY

Tonight I received an email from my brother with a voice attachment to listen to.  It was given to him by my cousin, who found it in his Dad’s files somewhere and copied it digitally.  It is a 40 minute talk on Testimony given by my Great Grandfather, John Maiben Thomson, who was my Mother’s Mother’s Father.  What a priceless thing for us to have and share with his Great Great Grandchildren now.  To actually hear his voice and to have him not only speak about Testimony, but to bear witness of his own testimony of the restored Gospel and His Savior is truly wonderful.  I am so very thankful for my loved ones and sense of their dedication and sacrifice that comes with being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in these later days.  There are many amazing examples of endurance and fortitude of saints who have pressed forward throughout hardships and trials in life and come out on the side of righteousness.  Easy has never been the road, But joy has always been an accompaniment along the path of those who have clung to the knowledge and faith that Christ lives.
