We had a fun and relaxing Holiday weekend. Saturday Todd and I took the kids to the Training Table for lunch, then hit a movie. SHREK HAPPILY EVER AFTER. We saw it in 3D. We all liked it. Some of our friends came over that night for a BBQ and games. The kids found the red cups again and started stacking. Great for their entertainment. They built and rebuilt many times.
Monday we took the kids swimming for a bit since it was opening weekend for the pool. Then we headed to the cemetery to put flowers on Scott and Grammy and Grandfather’s graves. Lesa was there with Sky and Sierra. The kids played in their favorite tree. We then went to Todd’s Aunts home for a BBQ and water balloons for the kids. Uncle John sat his chair in the middle of the lawn beckoning for his adult children to launch a balloon his way as the little kids circled around him. It took a few tries, but sure enough the guys planted one right on his face. Todd caught the perfect shot. Priceless!
