Spring being a tough act to follow, God created June.”
-Al Bernstein
We must’ve been bitten by the busy June Bug this month!
The first week after school was out we enjoyed a few activities while trying to ease into summer. However I soon found that trying to ease into summer is like trying to ease into a swimming pool by doing a cannonball. There’s just no ease about it.
We’ve really been having a fun time. The kids certainly enjoy extra time to lounge around the house- but for the most part they want to be out and about soaking in the sun.
Again, since this is somewhat of a family journal, I like to write down most of the activities we like to do in the summertime.
The first 2 weeks were filled with a whole lot a this n that. Activities such as…
picking out library books, bowling, swimming, sprinklers, friends, trampolines, basketball camps, ice skating and watching world cup soccer.
