This year Todd helped Tyson and one of his friends in the ward make their pinewood derby cars. We had each of them draw what they wanted theirs to look like. Ammon chose blue with flames. It turned out great. Tyson drew a car with a lime green crayon. SO..that’s the color of spray paint Todd got. Tyson then said “I didn’t mean that color, that’s just the only green crayon I could find.” Hence…glowing green is what he kept. We found a black and lime green (go figure) python decal to put on it. Tyson and Todd were thrilled that he won. It was such a fun day. With a little prep, and a whole lot-a-luck…it was definitely an nice unexpected surprise. He had his cousin Jordan sleep over the night before, and was really happy to have him and Grandpa John there to help celebrate.
